Interview with The Produced: Diving into Silkworm

I'm thrilled to share that The Produced recently featured an in-depth interview about my short film Silkworm.

In the piece, we talked about the film’s journey from its Oscar-qualifying premiere at Tirana International Film Festival to its international run, including screenings at Brussels Short Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival, and awards such as Best Short at Reelworld and the Asian New Wave Award at Kaohsiung.

The article describes Silkworm as "a haunting site where the moral code collapses under the weight of intertwined forces: class, poverty, identity, and so much more," capturing the heart of the film’s themes.

We also discussed the creative process behind the story — how a seemingly ordinary object like a used smartphone could set off an unexpected chain of events rooted in survival, morality, and connection.
