Press / Reviews / Interviews

“...Wonderfully crafted film with great performances which lets the main character remain a child among the challenging mechanisms of the modern world.” - KINOLUB

Reel Talk: On 'Silkworm' with Director Amir Honarmand.

“... Silkworm bends all sorts of perceived moral ‘righteousness,’ becoming a quiet site where social and ethical questions conflate - classism, poverty, morality, the question of innocence, justice - all set against the backdrop of COVID-19, where even education becomes a privilege and ceases to exist as a right.”

چند خط درباره چند فیلم دومین روز از جشنواره

“...The introduction, development, climax, and resolution are all fully realized and balanced, guiding the audience to the end with precise storytelling. Set in a local, culturally specific landscape, the film makes a striking and thoughtful choice of setting, offering beautiful and diverse visuals that, beyond the strong narrative, are woven into the fabric of the work. The casting -although a mix of seasoned actors and newcomers- is cohesive and consistent, delivering the sweet taste of one of the strongest short films in this year's festival.”
